Thank you for your consideration in giving to First Church. Our philosophy of giving stems from a believer’s responsibility to be a wise steward of all the resources with which God has blessed him or her. From the way you serve God with your time and talents, to the attitude with which you give back to God the first fruits of your labor through monetary giving – each of us is called to worship Him with our entire life. We also believe that we as the church are to be meticulous in how we handle those resources entrusted to us.
Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
If you are choosing to make a financial gift, your gifts can be designated for the General Fund, which supports the day-to-day ministries and church support services, or for other special funds, such as the Crisis Fund, Food Pantry, a specific committee or program. Gifts that are not otherwise labeled will be accounted for as a gift towards the General Fund.
