FUMC is conspiring this year to celebrate the Advent season in all its mystery and wonder. This morning’s Uncluttered Heart devotional calls upon us to ask ourselves what challenges are keeping us from reaching the stillness of God. What do we need to do in order to find a quiet space this season. For many of us, it is purposefully setting aside the time – just a small piece of it. For others, it is simplifying our “list” of things to do and buy during this season. Whatever it is for you, I hope that you take the time to stop, breathe, and listen for God’s wisdom and instruction.
