Our confirmation class, “Christian On Purpose” begins this January.

If you are a young person in grades 6 and up, if you have not yet experienced confirmation, or if you did and could use a refresher, then this is for you. You are invited to attend a Youth and Parent Meeting on Sunday, December 17 at 9:45 AM to explore what “Christian on Purpose” is all about. We will meet in the Conference Room in the Office.

If you are older youth in upper middle school or high school, consider joining “Christian on Purpose” this year. We will offer a separate discussion group from younger youth.

If you are new to the United Methodist Church, confirmation is a rite of the church during which youth and adults profess faith in Jesus Christ for themselves, becoming Christian “on purpose,” and not just because parents or others raised them to be Christian. Youth and adults confirm the vows made at their baptisms, whether they were baptized many years before or on Confirmation Sunday.
